Main purpose of the position
This function will focus on clients that will only integrate with On the Dot’s Logistics Management System (LMS) platform to manage last-mile deliveries. These clients might include B2B, B2C and e-commerce supply chains. This position will report to the Transport Manager

Key outputs
• Identify and engage with new business opportunities for LMS clients
• Member of the project team to implement new LMS customers in terms of client requirements and LMS and courier processes
• Design and optimise logistics operational processes
• Develop and implement standard operational procedures (SOP) at client level
• Identify and address opportunities to improve service, costs and processes
• Pro-actively and timeously identify and resolve logistical or integration issues and address problems to ensure systems are online and orders are processed for courier handover
• Monitor status updates between LMS and couriers to ensure they are accurate and relevant by analysing the daily courier reports
• Manage key suppliers’ performance
• Monthly billing and reporting to clients
• Prepare relevant management and client reports as required
• Provide regular feedback to primary customers with regard to new or different services
• Ad hoc analysis to assist client or OTD with trends or in preparations for new initiatives
• Assist Transport Manager with specific functions and initiatives
• Streamline and add value to existing processes

Requirements
• Post-matric qualification
• BCom Hon or BCom Logistics degree
• Minimum of 10 years’ administrative experience in a transport environment
• Proficiency in relevant software packages and applications (Microsoft)
• Knowledge of the transport and courier industry (Air, Road and Sea Freight)
